Got an old Polini 210 barrel single ring piston type, when this throws its hand in is it possible to change it to the two ring type or would it be better to go down the route of putting a Malossi Piston in? Will be putting in a 60 stroke crank non reed,And any ideas on what type of exhaust,Cheers .
Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there`s a 90% probability you`ll get it wrong.

I used a 1st oversize twin ring piston in an old Polini barrel I picked up cheap. Got the barrel rebored to match, had no problems with it. I also used a 60mm crank, packer at bottom of barrel, standard gearing. Most of the time I used it with a Sito exhaust which produced a nice wide spread of power. Also used it with a Taffy which was OK but a bit peakier and made it ride too much like a Malossi 210.
