I need more clearance between my vhsh carb and the panel to get a marchold filter on (the smallest i can find) Its an rb20 with the standard AF manifold the kit came with. Im already running offset cones and need at least 10 more mm. This could be a combination of the angle of the Carb and it sitting further back.

Does anyone know which of the 3 i have mentioned sits the farthest back? Im also hoping to get some more clearance by using a shorter mount, currently have the Andy francis one with 2 jubilee clips.

cheers Leigh, im running a 30m delorto vhsh, i reckon i have about 10 - 20m gap at the mo but havent been able to measure exactly as i havent had the pipe off. Ill take it off tomorrow to get an exact measurement. I understand Jimmers is shorter than the AF one and sits at a different angle?

Iv had no joy from pm jimmers on here so if its alright can you let me know where you got it and how much?

This is the one im using

part is quality, arrived quickly. Carb sits further forward and further back. Think it was just over a hundred quid, with this one the reeds sits a couple of mm higher

i know its not the question but you will get more clearance with a tmx35 and better performance with a breath sweet filter than any of the small pancake filters. on the ts1 i used a jimmers inlet and machined a bit more off of the front too.
