I like it, makes a pleasant change from the usual Imperialistic, flag-waving, chest-thumping, we used to rule the world stuff :bouncyeng: :D

mmmmm.
The greatest Soviet fighter ace of World War II was Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub, who scored 62 individual aerial victories from 6 July 1943 to 16 April 1945, the top score for any Allied fighter pilot of World War II.
The Yak-9 brought the VVS to parity with the Luftwaffe, eventually allowing it to gain the upper hand over the Luftwaffe until in 1944, when many Luftwaffe pilots were deliberately avoiding combat with the last and best variant

Hmmmm, i don't know if its in good taste, im really into German military history and have hundreds of books on the subject. A guy in our Club Johnny Kessel's great grandad won an iron cross in ww1 and his grandad fought for us in WW2 and his dad was in the british army as well so its all our histories. much as i support the British army i reckon the germans had by far the coolest looking stuff. IF they hadnt murdered millions of civilians i might also have done my Lammy in Das Reich livery. Not sure id want to park it in my local area with the Luftwaffe badge on the front.Great idea though but so is piching a nice birds arse, botha little hard to put into practice. :?

The Spitfire was good but it was always limited by its range. The P51D was probably the best of the lot.

Thank god the argument wasn't about the best dictator of all time  Best keep it indoors next Remembrance Sunday! FFS :?

Probably a good idea not to take it on a Euro rally either

Best not do it with pictures of british and 'mercin bombers either then..

Didn't someone do one with Arther Harris on it? Dresden was his idea, wasn't it?

Sadly, history is written by the victor, and his faults are often glossed over.

And when the 'mercins are the victor, history is often rewritten. U571...

Dresden raid was Churchills idea, Harris took the rap for following his orders and the Bomber Boys were shunned as a result, no campaign medal etc. The RAF and USAAF helped bring the war to an earlier end and the victory for 'democracy' allows for people to express themselves like er painting a vespa in Luftwaffe colours...........
