filter for a Dellorto
I have a phbh 28 with just a peice of gauze that i put on the mouth. I had a ram air remote but got rid of it ages ago, i was thinking of putting something similar to stop cr*p getting into the carb. But ram air seem over expensive for a peice of foam, i wondered if anyone has tried anything different, a cheaper, eg a mini moto or any homemade inventions?
I use a piece of womens tights, on the carb i mean!!!!!! Black preferably!

I got a flat round fillter from the local off road bike shop, i think it was £8, it fits on the plastic thingy that scews on the mouth of a 28mm phbh, if you shorten the inlet manifold it fits behind the panel. when i dynod it i tried the ramair on the elbow, then tried the flat round fillter, it lost 1 BHP when useing the ramair because of the rubber elbow, the flat round fillter does touch the panal at the bottom of the fillter slightly thats why i dynod it with the panals ON and OFF , it made no difference according to the dyno. regards.
eibargum, was it a blue or red one like this?
