Evening All,

Just putting my engine back together, went to do the timing and the new feckin flywheel hasn't got any marks to align with the pick up. Looking from the back of the flywheel at the magnets with fingers (not sure what else to call them) would the marks line up with the left or right slots?

I've tried up upload a pic to help explain,

Regards

The best way is to strobe anyway. Put the stator in with the slots in the mid point, start her up and strobe, assuming you already have marked TDC and your firing point.

With Indian systems I never go by the window marks ,they can be miles out.The only ones that timed up right were the early AF Ducati lightened flywheel kit.The only way to be safe is strobing using your timing marks on the mag housing.
