Can anyone give me any info on the flywheel below? ie. What type it is? who manufacturered it? Is it any good? etc.

It was on a Jet200 engine I bought that hasn't been used for about 20 years. It is a metal disc with a plastic fin assembly bolted onto it?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Don't all the cetral nuts/bolts mean the flywheel has been bolted to a different boss? I've got one with a machined boss bolted to a Vespa flywheel and fitted with a plastic fan. This looks a similar approach.

Is it possible it could be a vespa flywheel? I only have experience with Lammies so I wouldn't know! The plastic fin assembly is fitted to a flat round disc.

I couldn't tell from that picture, but it could be a vespa flywheel with a lammy boss , or a lammy flywheel thats had the boss change to another lammy one. but its deffo be lightened and plastic fan fitted.
I did a vespa flywheel conversion and fitted a plastic fan back in 86/87 fitted to my TS1 cutdown. last seen in Brum 94. ?????

Vespa PK flywheel ,,lammy boss fitted and washing machine plastic fan,, you can really lighten these things,, got one on my road scoot,, only problem is that they are physically alot smaller in diameter than the lammy and alot of road scum gets by it ,,so periodically i take it off and clean the inside of the mag housing,,

this. it looks like an old vespa /lammy conversion . should work fine, but you can get better fans now, off autos. as for road muck getting past, ive had this once (and skinny phil from darlo had it as well) with a new style AF flywheel. easy fix, but did me head in at first , as i"d changed stator etc , before looking at flywheel full of muck....DOH!

Beedspeed used to make them for li/sx/tv cranks out of a machined down p range flywheel with a lammy boss.from memory i think they used to take all the coils off a p range stator and graft them on to a lammy one as well.

If I remember right the fans came from a washing machine motor! We had them machined down along with the flywheels and everything was Allen bolted on. They worked well, the coils were off a vespa stator, easy conversion. That one doesn't look like one from beedspeed.

most of these flywheels were a vega flywheel ground down with a af boss to fit the fan alot of scooters used these in the old scooter racing days.jem booth uses these on his 12volt vega kit gets a vega flywheel gets the boss out then put the af flywheel on it
