My first rebuild.

Post pics & videos of your scooter, projects you're working on, a lovely Vespa that you saw at a rally, or anything else scooter related.

Never done one before, its a series two sourced/scrounged from all over the uk. I'm doing it on a budget of £1500. Please bear in mind I didn't own any components & had to get the lot from scratch.

Indian frame with dating certificate, 1972, & casing. All bodywork Italian, legshields needed a lot of work, rear light from the far east. Engine is an Indian 150 casing, Italian 150 gearbox. 200cc smallblock conversion top end. All powdercoated except for sidepanels. I've got everything now except for a headlight unit. Total so far is approximately £1050.

Sourced out a bit of welding for the floor, the rest is all blood sweat, brute force & sheer determination.

Anyway, the story so far....in pictures. (i haven't got a box on my head, I just dont fancy my mug splashed all over the web :D )

That stand is going to be a problem. It's sitting too upright for my liking.

Lookin good but the stand looks a little to vertical, like it could easily fall over.

I had a problem with the brackets for the stand/splashplate. Had to reshape them and slightly elongate the holes so I could connectit all together. I realise it's too vertical , I'll just get a fat bird to sit on the back for a bit, or buy one of those cheap springs off eBay!

I had the bits on the stand itself cut off and re welded so it didnt stand to vertical
