hi guys,my m8s on a budget and he has scraped a few bits together, so just by bolting on a malossi 166kit and a sito plus exhaust and drilling the air filter will this give a decent up grade for a px125 engine?

The Sito isn't really a match for the Malossi kit.
A Polini kit would work better.
Failing that i'd switch exhausts to a Simmonini or Sterling if on a budget.

Have to disagree a little there Acko. Sito+ aren't actually that bad. I understand where your coming from but if he already has the kit it will work pretty well.
Upgearing with the clutch cog is a good idea.
If he's just had a std barrel before just bolting on the malossi will make a huge difference. Be careful drilling the filter regards jetting. Suggest 112 but may need smaller. Back the timing off as well.

Whilst its all new I'd retard it a fair bit untill you know the jetting is safe. It will definitely pull 21 but may pull a 22 with a sito+
