I havent had chance to offer these up to the S2 yet, so have only mocked it up in the front room BUT i can see a potential problem
The lange range tank has 2 bolt-on brackets with fixed nuts that pick up on the seat bracket/hinge holes in the frame loop, the seat is a bolt down item, so has studs on the base
Im hoping that they dont need to use the same loop holes , coz for the money ive spent i dont want to have to modify anything
Im not going to have time to get into the garage till Sunday so time will tell
Have any of you beautiful people got the same combination and can put my mind at rest

The long range tank is such a fiddly thing to fit and as pedicted the bolt down seat uses the same frame loop holes so its time for a re-thinkred ghost wrote:Stinky Finga wrote:, coz for the money ive spent i dont want to have to modify anything

Ive got a full snetterton and a mid range tank on the GP
So i can either.....
Keep the bolt down seat on the S2 and rob the mid tank off the GP
or
Keep the big tank in the S2 and rob the snetterton as it uses the rear catch plate fixings
And when the boys on the road i'll direct him to your site m8 ...no probs

Bit of an update for you folks
After the motor nipped up i decided to rip it out and give it to JB Tuning for freshen up
The long range tank almost fitted !!!!
I need to elongate the frame loop holes at the rear to meet up with the tank brackets

After a chat with JB
The decision was made to junk the guttless and thursty Rapido 250 and i settled for the Monza kit bringing it up to a 230 with the crank
I went back into the frame a dam sight easier than it came

The money spent on the motor and pipe have put a set back on the cosmetics for this year so while i was scratching my arse waiting for the engine i thought i'd give the green panelwork a make over with some rattle cans and wet n dry
The new seat was done by Gary Simpson......its lush BTW... is just perched on for looks
