I spotted those too. From the photos at least they look decent quality. And if it's the same guy I'm thinking of he is straight enough. He's given me good service on other items and I'm sure it would be just the same with a gearbox too. Talk to him.

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

No need if you've got an engine that'll pull a four speed box properly. Which is likely, if the OP is looking at an SX200 box.

I get what TD is saying. But I do wonder how a standard scooter will pull that gearbox. Some struggle to pull standard gearing and I imagine your engine would have to be tuned to some degree to get the full potential out of it.

Agree with DP, it should be the answer to highly tuned lammys, and standards lammys would get very little benefit from such a product IMO of course

my dac would be a pig to ride with a 5 speed box imo as its such an easy ride with a li150/20/46. i have enough power to race round town and pull low revs at good speed on journeys.really cant see the need for a 5 speed box

That does surprise Mark tbh, I would have thought with all that power the spread of 5 gears would be perfect..although I take my experience of large gearboxes from 2 stroke screamers like rdlc and YPVS
