Very surprised at this, as i found the Paceman to be the best gripping and most stable tyre i have ever used................

I've seen two with small splits evenly spaced around the center of the tyer, not sure wot to make of it.
i had a weatherman go after 300 miles on tubeless rims at the iow had to cut the thinge off on the site it was found to have 4 or 5 very large bulges in .spoke to some guys from a near by club about it ,they had been running them on gts they had done the same on theirs .i must admit we all run the same ones as yours now and have had no problems

i have had problems with pacemans all have shown splits across the tyre and i found you need to have them @ over 30psi
Been running Schwalbe 100/90/10's Racemans on mine and the missus Lambretta's for a few years now and never had a problem although the rear tyres have been wearing out a bit quicker than the old S1's they replaced, I rate the Schwalbe's and they have been spot on in all conditions, although I do know they don't like diesel very much as i had a get off on a diesel on my way to a rally this year:( I have bought Schwalbe's from two dealers depending on who has them in stock when I need them, I noticed the last couple I bought have been manufactured in Indonesia and not from Korea where the others have come from, maybe those that have failed are from a bad batch from one factory, it happens I remember a batch of S1's falling apart a few years ago and was all over the scooter forums, I think it was when they switched producing them in Italy to somewhere in Asia
I have also came across bad batches of tyre's in the truck world from some big names
anyway out of interest where have the ones that have failed been manufactured ??
