bit more done .the plc is going to get a input from a remote key fob (alarm) to turn on my digital speedo .digital taco ,volt meter it will also turn on servo choke which will turn off after a set time . the blue tank is for two stroke oil the small black pump will pump it direct into the petrol tank which is also ran buy the plc 10sec pump time is 100ml of oil . ill also have other input/outputs to tell me choke/pump is on

Hi ,will an electric pump on oil work ? If your stood still it will pump oil every ten seconds and when ur on full throttle you will be running lean , isnt thats why there gear driven to pump at the rate the engines spinning ? Love the choke idea though !

I think you'll find it's to pump the required amount of oil into the tank when filling up to safe faffing about with bottles and jugs, not oil injection.

All very trick stuff but just a thought, won't the viscosity of the oil alter with temperature and thus affect the amount delivered in any given time? Maybe a flow meter might be needed?

i look on in awe as my approach to mechanics in the shed is literally 2 bent screwdrivers and the all powerful hammer.if i can't knock it back into shape then its staying bent and we'll work around it, a hydraulic clutch lives only in my erotic fantasies.

Im surprised the hydaulic conversion isnt more popular, have you got an isolator gasket in there, maybe delrin or something similar?

the big kawasaki GPz and GTR range of bikes can provide an ideal donor part, its bolted to the bike case.

my first build is bike engined, but I am gradually picking up tips and idea for my second one that will be lambretta engined

will have to wait a while, LOL Im building a whole scooter for what a lammy engine costs (soul destroying to see the cost of lambretta engines, this builds got 33bhp and electric start, only cost me £150 all in LOL I like bike engines) will sell the first build to fun the next one.
