I wouldn`t worry about the Engine Number, Registration plates are issued against the frame number. Registered a Vijay for a mate last year, when it was inspected they didn`t even look at the engine number, just the frame.
win or lose have a booze
what he said
...the dating cert is so you dont get a q plate ..

Went to the Chelmsford DVLA 2 weeks ago to do mine, being registered as a Vijai Super as per the dating certificate, had to take it there today for an inspection and he checked both the frame and engine numbers but all was ok so just waiting for my reg number now

so how do i k now if engine and frame numbers match? do yours have the same end numbers?
they do not match on any bretta apart from spanish, italian are close (up to 800 apart) but i have never seen indian ones any where near unless they have been restamped.

is it the *22*part in the frame number that makes it a vijay? i understand this locates what part of inidia it was built in but was it that the certain part only produced vijays or something else
