Hi,
I ride a '02 PX200 Disc and am looking for something to give it more oomph, without going the Malossi, Polini route. Was considering replacing the barrel and piston with a new P200E original 12hp one. I currently run a JL right hand pipe. The barrel and piston, plus an exhaust manifold, work out at around 160 stg. Is there any power or speed advantage to be gained by going down this route?

Not really! if your not upto porting and polishing yourself, phone sean or harry barlow and there'll give your existing engine a xmas treat for a very reasonable price!!!
ideally gadge on a standard engine you wanna be 14/15 bhp so it'll sit at 60mph! and push through to 70mph+ when needed, fone them first.....
