Hey mate, there is a lot to be said for an iron kit, thats why they are the James Bond of kits.People try to kill them but they just dont die.Ive nipped mine a couple of times but you wouldnt know if you looked at the barrel and it didnt nip up for no reason,it was always carb stuff and its sorted now.But if i wasnt doing iron,id go for Rons kit.Lam46 wrote:Stick ye fancy pansy kits up ye ass and get a guy with talent to fettle some chunk of iron and ride it like you nicked it![]()
I only say this because I cant afford a Ron Moss kit

The official 12.7 run is an Indian barrel anyway.

The GT kit is iron, but iron or alloy, it's all about good engineering, and nothing to do with genes or hormones ladies

Turn On, Tune In, Cop out!
Ive got a stage 4 indian with decent asso full skirt piston on a cutdown, scoot rs pipe and 34 dellorto.goes like stink,..had it 6 years ,thrashed it ,..cant break it,....or the standard indian crank!!gives ts1s a run for their money.
im running iron 225 love it but due to it heat seizing 2 up on the odd occasion have done a big fin conversion on the barrel and head like the ron moss kit it now runs noticibly cooler and its cheap as chips

If you think about it, it's the fettling(removing metal) that gives them a boost. The question should be "what isn't in it that makes it fast?"
That's not going anywhere...
