t5 cruciform

i used to have a problem with my t5 jumping out of 3rd so i replaced the cables still had yhe problem so pulled engine apart and cruciform was badly worn have now replaced this with new genuine piaggio one but still having problems i start it and it jumps into gear and stalls is it possible to fit cruciform wrong way round or is this a cable issue :?

Not possible to fit cruciform the wrong way round on T5's Probably cable adjustment,or the selector box is fitted wrong and the arm inside isnt connected.

worn selector pawl. just replace the whole selector box, it"s less hassle.

As long as you have fitted the flat type that t5s have you cannot fit it the wrong way round. i reckon you might not have picked up in the selector box, but as advised do the selector box they wear as well and cause cruciforms to go.
