has anyone noticed on this forum there are 42 thousand posts on Lambretta tech and only 5 thousand on vespa. they stopped making Lambretta in 1997 and one noone really bought any after 1968 so the difference either means vespas are really 8 times more reliable or most Lambretta owners can't leave their bikes alone. i am starting to wonder how much valuable drinking time i can free up if i dont get involved in setting up RB kits belonging to other people who i dont really know and spending hours agonising on whether i should throw away vega clutch spares when i havent owned a vega for 15 years and am unlikely to change a vega clutch again if i live to be 100. then again...

its a weird one really.. in the UK we are much more pro lambretta (so it seems from the posts and interest) but in other countries (spain for example) its completely the opposite.

Maybe a greater percentage of Lambretta riders can read and write.

Any die hard Vespa freaks in here wanna trade places? I come over there where I am respected like an equal if I ride a Lambretta and you try over here where you are treated like the last piece of infamous shait if you don't ride a vespa... (in and outside of the racetrack).

I think it's more likely that Lambrettas are eight times more interesting.
