Define 'best' and you'll get a clearer answer.

Best cheap pisto-port kit that uses a box pipe is a ported cast iron cylinder with decent piston, properly fitted and well set up.

Best piston port kit that has actually had a lot of thought put in to it and breaks new ground with its porting and fin area is the Ron Moss TT3 kit, although info and long term feedback on these is not yet available.

Best 'proven' bolt on ally reed valve cylinder kit with 25+ years of info behind it, that can be just as easily 'detuned' for touring as it can be tuned for road/race applications is the TS1. Although availability is now an issue.

Best performance kit, with major hype and several (lack of) R&D faults, that never lived up to the hype is the RB22 kit.

Best reed valve kit for 'touring with power' that is most likely to actually live up to the hype, and do what it says.....and have great potential for tuning.......almost certainly the supermonza. But price of kit and associated components makes it a difficult purchase for many, and current lack of tech spec info and independent customer feedback compound that issue.

So......'best'.......? Lol

How reliable are they? Havn't heard about many people using them.
Been on the CamLam site, but dont normally buy stuff just coz the salesman says they're great.

my definition of "best" 225 would be a cast iron gp200 barrel, ported well, using a good piston, put together well!
but as thats not a "kit" its irrelevant lol
