Would this make much of a difference though & with modern day fuel I thought 17 would be better :? Any thoughts :?:

Mike,Just to muddy the water a bit more on my rapido classic,my timing is set at 16 static, and touch wood its been fine,no performance loss, runs nice and cool. When I spoke to AF was told to set it at 19,but wanted to err on the side of caution ,3000+ miles all OK.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

I use 19 degrees on cast iron and TS1 with no issues for years.
