Removing wheel studs from front drum

I normally use the ground down socket, but how do you get them off a disc hub, you can't fit a socket around them?

I had mine chamfered on a lathe so you could use it on Train drivers disc hub.

Yes my front hub was a disc hub,haven`t got a lathe so I had to grind a socket down on a grinding wheel to make it narrower
