Customizing my `62 Vespa 150

Because the fenders are sitting much lower the floor of the left one would have been way too low and not meet the frame. By creating an angle this has been solved. Also a frame was made for a radio + motorcycle battery that will be mounted in the left fender:

is the engine going to be liquid cooled ?

yes i,m quite aware that PX,s have no vents in the panels ,but on a PX the panels sit higher up in relation to the engine anyway and the flywheel is open to fresh air from roughly the flywheel nut down.
not only do these old vespas have deeper panels as std but on this one especially as they have been modified to sit even lower ..!! so hence my maybe not so daft question about cooling

its quite possible that they maybe gonna press some vents /louvres into the panel .
but whatever,I think this is a great job and its gonna look really nice.,looking forward to seeing this come on .

Looking very nice, i love the style of the older Vespas, i have 3 myself, and i love seeing what folk do to them, especially when they are customised.

Keep the updates coming, are you hot rodding it?

Love the look of the early Vespa's too. Also a big fan of the Kustom style. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Some great fab work already done.
