Would depend on your gearing setup and where your motor produces power

As above will depend on your gearing but you dont say which NK, i believe there are 3, i had there mid one and it was very revvy, ideal for an RB as worked really well with power band. Then tried a jl3 and scoot was transformed into a far more tourqey motor with more power down low, but no power band... :(

I didnt change the gearing at all when i changed pipes so it was a direct sort of comparison. I dont know what the NK tourer is like so cant comment on that , but the jl3 against the NK mid or race is a far more tourqey pipe. I think NK may have have new models out since i had one and these could be different? also think the build quality of the JL is better although the cost is more.

Good luck.

The ADS pipes from Chiselspeed may be an option too ;-)

Is it a standard TS225 barrel? Has it had a 'generic' tune? Was the barrel tuned to match a specific pipe?

Just had this delivered, not a JL3, but a "naked" Franspeed Race made by JL, and the quality looks very good. So, another contender, the Franspeed touring pipe?
