Jaime; he's talking euros and pounds. The pound is worth more so there is not that much difference.

It's still over £200 difference, plus if you need to get it to the UK, that costs too.

If you aren't planning to ride it regularly or sell it, why are you restoring it. It looks like you have a winter tv 175 plus sidecar in original paint. I know you aren't a fan of the rusto look but look at it logically. Its worth more now as is and I doubt you will never find another like it, in that condition if you paint / sell it. I have long accepted that good condition original scoots are valued more than newly painted examples, especially poorly refurbished items.

Just my point of view, and of course you can do what you want its your scoot.

Nev, there was a time that the pound was ideal to make good business selling scoots. Now the difference is practically insignificant at the pound sitting at 1.16€....

Here's a couple of pics of a s2 125 i recently got . It's mostly surface rust and with a bit of elbow grease she ain't that bad. So she is not getting any paint but maybe treat her to an imola 186 :lol: ImageImage

Thanks for the comments. The yellow thing is a reflector which was on it when i got it (haven't taken it off although it does look s**t :P ) i have completely stripped the frame now just to make it easier to clean and applied acf-50 and now going to start to rebuild i hope!!!ImageImageImage

I cant beleive how I missed this one for 300,00€... I'll be kicking myself for ever :lol:
