I got stopped on the street when I was heading to dine with my girlfriend at a restaurant by a very polite Englishman with his wife: "Oh what a beautiful Lambretta.. I used to have one of them! Great machine! I was 18 when I had one and.....[]" I dont get these sort of comments from Spaniards who owned them. They generally come to me and say: "oh a lambretta, I had one, then sold it, then got a better bike".

had a chat to him to day and yes he did have an li125 before he went for the tv ...it has took him a year or so to find this pic and as he is in his 80's he cannot recall where the pics of the tv are but he soon feched the small (mint) aa badge he had on it to show me
