theres lots of info in stickys book ref italian colours, but what about indian gps? i have a '78 150, what colour where the cowels, tank etc originally? Ta

Spose they could be anything, like the silver option as that is what they are at the minute, seen a few new indian engines selling with black cowels.....

early indian were as innocenti ,as was body colour options
white tank/toolbox/cowels
silver hubs /rims /forks

later tank /toolbox /cowels were black i belive

Heres my x reg (82?) sil gp200 the pic was taken in about 84 the off white tank and tool box is the factory finish. id say the same as innocenti Biancospino 8082

I had a brand new 1979 GP150. Definitely, the cowls and tank were metallic silver, with precious little primer and undercoat underneath :D

My T plate GP200 has got the original tins all in off white there looking very shabby now tho I want them to look how they left the factory so anybody recomend a good powder coater also for hubs rims & forksn
