Actually it matters not as I'm usung panniers so I'm sure we can squeeze plenty of ale

I think it looks ok and serves the purpose mate.

only problem i can see with Morris's GP style trailer is the wheel occupies most of the available load space so a pair of pannier bags will probably hold more stuff

Yes, definately, olds kool! Re the exhaust snot on the pav, have you tried a snail?
I have only tried (briefly) a trailer on a mates bmw and apart from not cutting corners in town, I soon got used to it. Whats it like on a scooter? Need to watch the speed limit?

the exhaust dirt was from my jl3i now run a avanti clubman so hopefully it will be less now

Haha It's a hinged lid for access...don't think even in Thailand they'd ride on that!

There is a decent amount of space inside as its a hollow box and it handles around corners well. The position of the wheel helps maintain stabilty at speed too.
