Hello. Got an early P200E engine casing, bare. And an early p125x (points) engine complete, question is are any of the internal engine parts compatable? obviously i,ll need barrel etc, was thinking of gearbox, hub, clutch etc? (done a few lammys but my vep experience as regards engine rebuilds is ltd,at the moment) Thanks

pretty sure everything gearbox and clutch wise is a standard fit: top end is different (barrel etc) due to the cylinder studs being space differently.

And remember that the gearing-ratio for the 125 is alot lower than for the 200 engine, so might consider geting a spare 200-gearbox.
If not, the engine will rev to high...

cant use the 125 crank in a 200 (narrower webs, and a 15mm small end , 200 has a 16mm small end) if you want to swap a mk1 P200 gearbox for your 125 gearbox , PM me. i need a 125 box, and have a 200 here.
