Evening all,
Is there any personal recomendations regarding what degree's to set the timing on my Imola kitted engine, I've read 18 degree's, but been told to run it at 16 instead.
Any help would be greatfull accepted.
Cheers.

The issue of retarding the ignition timming applies to all tuned scoots, not just Imolas. 17 or 18 degrees should be fine for shortish blats but for all day motorway blasts at full throttle, it is safer to retard slightly and hopefully avoid the risk of holing a piston. The down side is a slight reduction in peak hpjaymarriott wrote:Evening all,
