Coaster, did you alter the angle of the transfer feeds or just raise them with a similar shape/slope/angle (if you follow)??
I'm carving up a cheapo ebay alloy 185 at the mintue, the ports were shocking, gonna use a RD350LC piston, plenty of over sizes as long as it runs ok! so wanna get it right, maybe on the conservative side. Your boost post looks a little small, how much of a power band did it have when it kicked off?

I was aiming to just raise them to 125 degrees and make them both the same. I was using a cylindrical grinding wheel in my Dremel working from the top of the barrel and using the back of the stone. However, maybe I was just lucky because it all work quite well, I have since widened the boost port to 23mm, I would have gone wider but there isn't much meat in the cylinder wall and I managed to breake through between the fins
