Looks like a genius bit of kit if:

A: it uses better shoes than were previously available for Lambrettas.

B: it features a cam on the pivot end allowing you to adjust the shoe position to compensate for poorly-machined casings without having to skim the shoes.

... at the moment we're working on a assembly instruction in your language, but I'll try to explain it:

The main problem with the rear brake is, that the two M8 threats are not located at the correct place and this in combination with poor afermarket brake shoes you'll have a lot of "fun"! We've this problem in our workshop twice a day and this is the reason why we was searching for a solution. Our intension was to build a kit with high quality brake shoes and without any modifications to the casings and/or the hub. The system if working like the Vespa EFL/T5 front brake. You have to adjust the brake shoes once, but therefore you have to remove the hub. We don't want to drill holes into this weak hubs because we think this could be dangerous. We've tested this brake kit a lot of miles in serveral scooters (also with a sidcar) and we did the 12 hours endurance race (http://springrace.at/)in Austria this year without any troubles. The brake shoes are from Lucas and all the other parts are made in Bavaria.

Here are the pics http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 4764488512 and here you'll get to our online shophttp://www.jockeys-boxenstop.de/shop/in ... 5ba20dcf44

@ Sticky: Please send me our adress to [email protected] and I'll send you one kit for testing....

Oh, okay. Is there a part number for the shoes?
The reason I ask is that whilst this seems a really good improvement, I wouldn't want my only availability of these shoes limited to one supplier that isn't in the UK.
