Knock out any remnants with a hammer and chisel. Buy bolt-in buffers and drill bolt holes through the fork boot. simple :bouncing:

I wish I had read this post a while back...It took me about Two hours removing the old remnants then folding bits of steel to shape and welding them back in.....Now why didnt I just drill two holes and fit SX ones instead It would have been alot quicker and easier.....and it makes it simple to get the links in and out....The more I read on this site the more I learn...
