my li 3 has developed this steering issues...it wants to pull slightly to the left and then to right and then back to the left while going straight. i've spun both wheels and they both spin true. could it be the old engine mounts or fork springs that need to be replaced?

I wouldn't have thought it was fork springs personally, have you tightened the steering bearings recently perchance?

If they get overtightened it can cause this sort of "swaying"

Rebuilt my mates Li special and had similar problem, put in new hub and fork bearings still the same. Took links out and the link bush the pivot bolt goes through had worn, straight forward swop over perfect steering.
