Very tidy Button.

How does the engine perform? I remember the twin-carb kits being launched by Pinasco, but I don't think I ever saw one on the road.

I remember Armandos used to sell them in the 80`s but I don`t think they worked very well.

They did. This is mine.
Nice to see another TC on the road. I have a few kits.

They aint great for power, mine is 14.7 on PM's dyno. Bout the same as a 'bolt on' Malossi 210.
Power delivery is very different though. Nice induction noise drowned out by the even nicer baffel-less pitone 8-)

It´s not a mind blowing or tarmac eating scooter but it´s going fine and since the scooter was ready for street use it never missed a beat.

I´ve tweaked out some more horsepowers by opening the ports (they are closed, there is just one port = like the original Piaggio 200 cylinder) and I fitted a cylinderhead with a better squish band and headvolume.

I still have one "nos" 225 Twin Carb cylinderkit as a sparepart and also one "nos" 177 Twin Carb cylinderkit.

If I ever find the time I will fit the 177 Twin Carb on a PX 125 engine.

@ OzOAP: Nice one :!:

Ran a 177 years ago. Still got kit. No doubt it'll sit around for a few more years till I find the time to 'tinker' with it again.
Nice to find another TC nutter out there :P
