4 of the Blue Dazzle pics on his FB page were taken by me. Skeggy I believe, but it was so long ago I can't quite remember. What a Lambretta and even better, he still used the SIL badge on the horncast!

omg!
just saw the wake pics, and felt that the cold hand grabbed my heart.
as for many of you, this scooter is an absolute icon.
someone have to get in touch with jh and tell him, what this scooter means to the scooterist scene.
it would be a shame,if the bike will be sold and ended up in the wrong hands, with someone who starts a resto, and then lost the spirit.
so,come on england, get together and bring back this masterpiece!!!

I remember seeing Dazzle in blue at weston '84 I think, then by Clacton '85 it was green and it was like f*ck me ! how can he better that. Spirit Walker topped the lot and to this day is still my favourite full blown custom scoot.
Jeremy Howlett & Russel Mitchell pushed the boundaries in originality, that in my opinion haven't been passed.

i think in the custom scooter book,or somewhere else was a qoute, that he still had some parts of dazzle lying around, but would not sell them.
the only hope is,that he got back the bug via the whole response he get via fotzebook or the forum, and bring the scooter back to life.
its really hard to explain, how this pics shocked me,when i saw them.
was like when someone had died...

Spiritwalker was my favourite too but I'd argue that the scooters built by Carl Hissey have broken new ground since the '80s - and he's done the lot - full frame, cutdowns and chopslozmondo wrote:I remember seeing Dazzle in blue at weston '84 I think, then by Clacton '85 it was green and it was like f*ck me ! how can he better that.
