Firstly, I'll probably have loads of questions on this as, not only being a Winter Model, I have no experience of the Series 2. This is why I'm posting here and on LCGB, it may help others too

Anyway, I picked this up the other day

Bit Tatty, but all there, then I began the strip down

Revealing the original colours

...and some of the horrors

Most of which I can deal with, but this is a problem...

This is nice though, real metal..

This is nasty, but not a massive issue

And this is where I am at the moment

So that's the front stripped. The plan is to strip out the frame loop and get it all blasted. I'll then hand it over to my panel beater to see what I can salvage and make good ready for paint or powdercoat. I've had a scheme in mind for a number of years and hope to realise it on this, but it won't be a standard resto, but something a little different I hope. I'll worry about the engine later.
For now I already have a list of spares needed, in good or repairable condition, so if anyone can help...?
First off is a light rim, or the possibility to repair mine??
Stand
1x Handlebar lever
Panel handles
Carello rear light lens
Toolbox door & lock
Petrol tap lever
Top nut for forks (C spanner nut)
All help and advice on this project is appreciated
