I have a 26mm Dellorto PHBH fitted to a honda 205 kit, i had a 30mm PWK orginally on it but it ran like a bag of shite and was difficult to start. The 26mm was all i had to hand at the time, i did up the jet size to suit (dont remember size) and it ran alot better and started easier. but a mate of mine says the carb is to small and might lead to seizures due to lack of fuel. I was hopeing to use this bike to go to euro lambretta but i am concerned it will seize up on me now. Its running with a 42mm clubman.

It'll be fine if it's jetted correctly. You could use a 22mm carb if you like, you won't sieze it through lack of fuel just setting it up badly will cause that. Smaller carb will equal less fuel but that's just going to impact on it's ability to rev high but so will the clubman. I use a 24mm carb on a Mugello 225 with no problems.
