Gearing recommendations

What be the best front and rear sprocket recommendation running with a dl125 gear box and a 186 Imola kit, would i be ok to leave as is, carb will be a 30mm PWK and the pipe will be a standard club man till funds premit something better.

47/18 will give you GP200 gearing on the GP125 gearbox. This was good on my old Mugello 186, 28mm carb, with a PM expansion (and before that an AF Clubman), so I'm guessing it would be good on your set up now and with an expansion pipe.

Thanks for that, would i need to replace the existing chain with a longer one.

Yes, you'll need an 82 link.

Unsure of the Imola power etc but I like that gearbox running on 19X46 on tuned Stage 4 barrels.

Choosing Gearing depends on what type of person or riding you do ie small /med / large build ,one up /two up, touring , tootling @ Town , loaded up with bags etc just throw them into the eqaution before you decide mate

medium build, never two up usually travel as fast as the bike permits, rearly loaded with bags, just want gearing that will get the best out of the imola kit.

Don't go any taller than 5.2 with an Imola or you'll kill it's ability to rev. Mind you so will a clubman
5.4 will be more fun with a revvy / race exhaust..
