A lot of talk on these pages about production lines. Truth of it is that there are many people selling these tv's (within reason of course) using the pretext of the low production number as a reason for getting a high price. Whilst I think that they are undoubtfully priceless, their statement is a bit wrong. We have been collecting data over the years of all the tv's that have been selling and honestly there seems to be a bit over the 750 production that people claims. As it is hard to say the EXACT figure of production, it is not difficult to add the production numbers judging by the frames that we have available, something isnt right. You get more tv's than there are claimed to be by simple math. I have in my power the archive of the Lambretta Club of Spain. The earliest tv's start by 500001 but not too long ago, I just found a winter tv, now proudly owned by a member of this forum that was framed onf the 530000's range. Again, if we do the math, something isnt right, and I am sure they wherent jumping numbers, so even if the winter tv that I found was the last in production of all the spanish series II tv's that still leave us with a bigger chunk than just the ridiculous 750 that are strangely claimed to be produced.
Again, surely they are rare, but I dont understand why the LCGB archive havent come cleared about this, since we all know that the largest amount of surviving examples are now in the United Kingdom.

Okay; I've got to ask. It looks pretty sound already to me. What are you planning on doing to it?
It looks better in the photos than in the flesh. Not sure what I'll be doing yet, probably a 175 with a mild tune, straighten the body work, weld up the extra holes & a respray. Fancy a period racer look, but I am struggling to find any 60's Spanish racing team photos to use as reference.
