Since my barrel needs replating I was thinking of getting some work done on it first.

As it is it's great fun around the lanes at home but on a long run screaming it's nuts off it does my head in, it's an early Imola, can it be ported to have more torque so I can change the gearbox and find a better balance? If so, any suggestions on who can do it reasonably quickly?

From personal experience of him tuning my iron 225 I can recommend Chris sturgess/al Diablo. They are nothing but proffesionals and so helpful. I will happily drive for 3 hours to go see them and get their advice.

Thanks Mark and thanks to you too Chris (Top Bloke!) for the long chat, like you said, I'll see what gearing it can currently pull and then take it from there. I'm going 17/46 which will take it to 4.98 and use an 81 link chain.
