hi, has anyone any ideas on this,, i have a ser3 ts230 when i power out of a bend the rear of the scoot seems to feel like there is a gyro in the rear wheel (feels like its trying to put me back upright!) its worse if i use the rear brake but this does not happen all the time, might go for miles without a problem then it comes back, i have changed the engine mounts and rear spring, its running a weatherman on the back and a raceman on the front. this is driving me mad!!.thanks.

I had a puncture the other week, needed to go out again and the only tube i had was on another wheel that I just use to put on bikes to move around the workshop, this had been filled with Ultraseal when on a road bike, but then had been sat around not moving much for a few months...
since fitting this, the rear has felt a little unsteady when leaning over...
the valve was leaking slightly, so replaced that
I think the Ultraseal, abetted by the air from the leaky valve may have "gone off" a bit through lack of use.
i now have some new tubes, so will fit one in the morning
I'm hopeful that this will cure it...

put some Ultraseal in the new tube today, rode around gently for a few miles to spread it about, then got back to chucking it around, the handling is restored. So, my problem at least, I'm putting down to the sealant in a tube that hadn't been ridden for a while, and had a slightly leaky valve.

other than a tyre problem,

check frame for a split around the tube that carries the engine bolt/cones.
Old Lambretta's never die, they get tuned..................
