Tubeless rims in the UK?

if i was af id get a proper engineers written report on there rims to settle this one way or the other then publish it on here and lcgb site . because nobody is goting to buy theres anymore now the sip ones are out

you would be lucky if it lasted an hr other the other site anything thats not the norm gets removed sharpish even if said offending post is in lambretta riders interest just a thought not a thread hijack
good idea though gives people an informed choice

Pointless.. Rev Ray would simply say that the engineer didn't fit them right, and they've never had that problem with anyone else.

a lad had a swalby collaspe on a new af rim today dont know whats to blame yet though...

just thought i'd update people about this it turns out nothing to do with the rims just a puncture pure and simple,ps can the cheeky foreign tw@7 take my quote off his facebook page cheers art

Finally got my tyres fitted today,one fitter gave up but another persevered and they eventually went on.These rims have been welded and turned down to fit the hubs as I believe they should

Yes...Red is running somecand has done for a good while possible on the carlsberg scoot..my option if i was getting some simple because they have been trouble free for Red and by feck is that some statement..

has anyone fitted af rims and had a problem with them working loose?
the pictures what wack has posted look very good but a bit of an extreme modification for the average scooterist,then the question is ' did lambretta use this method to centralize the wheel or did they rely on the studs'? my money is on the latter as used by most automotive manufactures of that era!
in the seventies uk car manufacturers started to mount the wheels on the 'boss' of the hub or lorry men had tags to centralize the wheel,
do af rims use a 'coned ' nut like most cars or are they flat rellying on the studs/nuts pulling the wheel back to the hub?
'lambretta restore's ' split rim tubeless looks like a good idea and fit just like the origional innocenti rim/wheel combination,any one else using these,although 'reds' testing i think will be quite thorough!
lets here your opinion of the af rims!
