I stripped my friend's gp 2oo because the clutch was slipping. replaced the clutch plates ,springs and swapped the spider for a better one,, when you kick the scoot it will engage the kickstart first time then slip after that.... i fitted a new piston and spring to the kickstart and checked first gear ( new gear box) no problem ,still the same ..ive stripped the box and checked the layshaft all seems fine ,, swapped the outer casing from my gp and it slips also,, his casing works fine on mine ,,,,,,any idea's welcome...

cut off the ramp on the gearbox endplate and install a LI style ramp to the sidecasing, then you can control the depth the kickstart piston travels

What about the clutch being taller than before and the kickstart shaft is rubbing causing it to slip or do you mean it does not engage the 1st gear all the time ?

when i fit the casing it will engage first time ,then it starts to slip..it just go's down there's no rubbing sound or compression like the clutch is engaged,,then it will engage every other kick....i know you can convert to sx / li type ,,im just wondering why this is happening,,

It can only be the clutch rubbing or the kickstart piston sticking.Wipe the clutch top plate then colour with marker pen, refit casing and try again to see if it rubs the marker off. Also check the piston and that its teeth are the same profile as the teeth on 1st gear and is free to move in n out the shaft.
