Thought so. Great wee memories of my solo ride to Scarborough in '05 stopped there going on coming home.

I will be doing it again.

We always stop for fuel there as well en route to a few rallies, usually scooters or scooterists in the car park :D :D

Quality that lasts...still going strong! The pipe is testament to that right?

Majority of the locals are current or ex Scooterlads and Leeds supporters, always some in there even if bikes not outside...no comedy mods though thankfully, but a few characters still hehe!

Wasn't lashing down then was it? Remember a solo rider who was heading Morecambe way to catch a ferry. Red & White LI?

Bloody hell! you've a good memory!!!!

Yes, I was heading back to Liverpool for the ferry to Belfast.

I remember the Harrogate lads fly past me on the way back and I mean fly!!!! I had some cracking pics of the Lambrettas parked up at the pub, but I lost them.

I spoke briefly to the lads at the pub was that you?!?!?!

I absolutely loved the ride to Scarborough and back.

Here it was at that Scarborough Rally

It's a memory that's stuck with me...when you set off again down Skipton road in the P1ssing rain.

I was there mate, said hello and good luck etc when you set off again...think it was Jez & Tim both brothers who were chatting most to you.

Were your ears burning after mate...we were chatting for a while about your journey home across the moors by yourself in the sh1tty weather, very bleak up there in places like!

Remember your bike on the way home too. We passed each other a few times when we kept stopping to dry out, wait for the vans, regroup, fill up, etc haha.

Think I was on Castrol 60's replica if you can remember what was in the carpark.

It was a mad ride back yep. I'd had an open face jet helmet and goggles...couldn't see a great deal and the rain was like needles.

Don't ask DD any dodgy questions...think it was involved in a big job recently and it's laying low.

Probably just fell off, I'm not sure.
