extended engine mounts

has anyone had problems with andy francis extended engine mount rubbing on there side panels,,many thanks steve..

just gave my mate my spare on for his jet 200 and its rubbing the side panel...

he is only using the half nut on the kicksatrt side isnt he

yes mark,,hes even machined the nut down a bit more...

thats strange are they sx panels? as these are a fraction thinner where the front flashes are fitted to panel

I had mine rubbing the side panel on my GP. Mine came from Taffspeed

they are 70s LI style panels
the stud fouled the panel (was proud of the rubber panel buffer)
wound down the half nut on the shorter thread to the end, then put in a lathe and turned down the stud and half nut a couple of mil to shorten.
still touched panel so took about 4mm from the mount.
will fit under the panel now.

havent a clue why but problem now solved

Have you let Andy francis know as I'm sure he would Like to know of problems with his stock so he can investigate it
