1) do the white first?
2) Is there a brand of masking tape thats best so that it wont bleed between the 2 colours,or just the every day stuff from B&Q do
Any tips or advice would be great

I'd put the white on first and the clout coat on last, if it is a pearl of some sort it will probably need a white base anyway. Most metallic/pearl finishes will need a laquer coat and for the panels I'd recomend a petrol resistant one. I didn't and the first overfill melted the laquer, I didn't realise and tried to wipe it off with paper towel and took the paint off
Cheers lads, the petrol resistant laquer I hadn't even thought ofstafford wrote:you need to use a fine line tape first, and then use a good quality tape 3M is one of the better quality tapes
