I have drum links on my LiS rebuild -- was going to replace so I can fit dampers.
Is there any reason to suspect that old (original) links that have been standing around for 25 years+ would not now be upto the job if they were modified like this and replated -- fatigue or anything else like that? Maybe I worry too much.
