PM sell atomisers & needles for [quite a bit] less than eurocarb, but don't have such a range.
40 is quite a rich slide in a VHSA...

Had a bit of a result round Johns today. Dave is off to scarborough so wanted his head nuts tightned. While he was there we put his carb on mine and bingo all issues ironed out. We then tried his slide in my carb and was better. On closer inspection the side of my slide is worn quite badly on the edge and on the face, this is probably the main culprit but im going to copy his complete set up anyway.

Got me to wondering why my slide is f**ked whilst daves who has the same engine and had done at least 4 times more miles than mine is fine...? He has a filter is the answer i guess, i never really thought about them but they obviosly do their job and stop damage. ...

yeah, but you lose that lovely induction roar

glad you know what your's needs

slides do seem to wear quite badly on these carbs, sit there chattering on tickover...
possibly as at over £50 a throw they're not replaced as often as they need to be....

so have you got some leftover needles & atomisers going spare now..?
I did order a K28 and DQ262 today, which I'm hoping will go some way to making mine run better...
