had this problem for a while but with the MoT coming up I thought I'd try and sort it now.
All lights work when switched to headlight, but the running light does not work with the key on 2nd turn/click.
It's a remade junction box and I can't see where I've gone wrong and the diagrams I've seen don't make it obvious.
Could there be anything I'm missing (apart from electrical ability)??

I take it that as the tail light is working in position 3, you are using an Italian ignition switch.
The feed into the switch for the city lights is the purple (or grey on a battery model) so check you have power to this, if you have an electronic loom the purple (or grey) will need to be connected to the browns.
