Bearing instead of brass clutch bush

Seems like a good idea, but does anyone know if the surfaces this bearing rides on are hard enough to work with a bearing instead of the original bush?

Good question. I've certainly seen massive wear on the internal surface ie on the pressure plate in engines that have been run with no oil so it can't be that hard.
You couldn't do it with one piece lammy crownwheels so I'm sceptical

I found an old clutch in the garage the other week, 50's i think. This has loose bearings and not a brass bush... :!:
