I bought a p80x(german import) £700 off ebay. It`s a very solid scoot and it has a polini 135 kit on it with a simonini exhaust(I know its not the best). What carb, exhaust combo would be the best to put on it.Can I put a bigger kit(barrel) on it?It needs a respray so I`ll sort that when the engine has been done.
Cheers

visit the sip site, you can put a bigger kit on but you need to change the crank to a 125 one and also get a kit that has been machined down by a mm to fit in the casing

i think the biggest you can go is 139cc. the malossi kit and simonini is about the best you can get without an engine swap. did a 200 motor for a lad with a PX80 a few years back(ex squaddie, brought it back from Paderborn), and i ended up with the 80cc motor. f@@k knows what happened to that! the electrics were funny as well, it had a battery , and weird switches. i ended up changing the loom , switches, ignition switch , the works. its still knocking about. just looks like a mk1 P200e.

new 200 motors are over a grand new these days, and good 2nd hand are going for daft money as well. 125 motors can be picked up for a resonable price, and with the right kit, will be as fast as a 200. whats it go like now?

Hepp.

They (SIP and SCK) sell 177-kits that are milled down to fit the 80-casing.

and a 177 kit, SI24 and a ScootRS pipe would go just as good as a original P2-engine..
